PBS National Parks Series is "Tree-Mendous"

Hey Kids,

Be sure to tune into PBS to see the Ken Burns National Park series! It's "Tree-Mendous"! Some of my relatives have starring roles, like the ancient trees in Yosemite! I grew up with some of those guys. Me and my old buddy, John Muir used to talk for hours about deep rooted wisdom! This is one "in-TREE-ging" TV series and my buddies at PBS are bringing it to you!

Cousins adopt Bark Buddies and plant a tree together!

Hey Brandy, thanks for sending us the picture of you and your cousin with your live Bark Buddies Tree and your huggable Bark Buddies too! I'm so glad to hear another happy adoption story. I see you have your "B'Earth Certificate" proudly displayed in a frame...I bet that will mean a lot to you when you're all grown up and can show it to your kids someday! It makes you feel really good knowing you've planted your very own tree to make a difference. I'm also happy to see you both outdoors, playing and having a good time. We trees make great outdoor buddies, we give you shade when it's hot, and in the fall, when some of us shed our leaves, you can have a lot of fun raking the leaves up and jumping in them! Just be careful when you're sledding in the winter, that you don't run into us...OUCH!!! for you and for us!

Keep playing and planting! BTW, the Stinkwood Cousins here in the Secret Valley send you and your cousin their stinky greetings:) Those Stinkwood trees are something else, you'd think after we've had a good rain bath, they'd smell better, but they don't...I don't get it. They're always stirring up a stink around the Secret Valley. Oh well, remember Brandy, the Bark Buddie Trees are ROOTING-4-YOU!

Kids really "dig it" when we visit their schools!

What a nice thank you note April! We had a "tree-mendous" day root skooting at your school's "Outdoor Classroom". Thanks for inviting us! That's why we're here ...to ROOT-4-YOU and show you how to be healthy, happy and in this case, smarter because now, you know the parts of a tree! I hope you always remember the things you learned because we Bark Buddies Trees are working hard for you...growing food, holding the dirt in place, giving you shade, cleaning your air, sheltering animals, even giving you pencils and paper for school! We're on the job for you. I hope you will always take good care of the live Bark Buddie Tree your class planted and grow up healthy, "leafing" a happy, little footprint on the earth!

Can Big Bark come to my school some time? we cant wait to see the Bark Buddie tv show hurry up and get in on we have been playing outside a lot more since meeting the Bark Buddie trees and its a lot of fun.

A guy named Nelson Henderson said that because we have to think about what we do today and how it will impact the earth tomorrow...that Nelson guy really was a deep rooted thinker! Here's a pic of the new, eco friendly Bark Buddie toy...made from recycled plastic bottles, cotton and corn fiber! While this little soft, cuddly tree is gobbling up plastic bottles bound for the land fill and keeping the farmers busy, the live Bark Buddie Trees are busy cleaning our air, keeping the dirt in place, giving us oxygen to breathe, food and shelter...talk about multi tasking trees! Soon you'll be able to get your very own cuddly Bark Buddie Tree to grow up with!
